These rules & regulations set out the complete agreement between the group renting the premises and Xgħajra Scout Group (hereafter referred to as ‘We’) 

 

If the group does not adhere to the rules & regulations explained hereunder, we reserve the right to ask you to leave our premises/campsite immediately without any refund. 

 

All guests must respect the building and its surroundings, as it is a Grade 1 Heritage building.

 

CCTV cameras are in operation on the premises for security purposes. All activities may be monitored and recorded. Tampering with or obstructing cameras is strictly prohibited.

 

Bookings 

• Bookings are only via our official website.

• A €50 booking deposit and €200 refundable damage deposit are required to confirm.

 

Guarantee Deposit

• The €200 guarantee deposit will be withheld for any damages, with the management determining the amount.

 

Arrival 

• Arrival times: 10:00 AM (morning) and 5:00 PM (evening).

• Camp chief must meet our representative to inspect the campsite, kitchen, and indoor areas on arrival.

Departure

• Departure times: 11:00 AM (morning) and 4:00 PM (evening).

• Camp chief must inspect the campsite, kitchen, and indoor areas with our representative. Any issues must be resolved and areas left clean; the guarantee deposit will be withheld until everything is in order.

 

Cancellation 

• Bookings are accepted only up to 15 days before the arrival date; deposits are non-refundable if this condition is not met.

 

Quiet Hours

• Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and must be strictly observed; police enforcement may apply if necessary.

 

Vehicles

• Vehicles are allowed on-site only for loading/unloading and must leave immediately afterward.

• All vehicles must be parked outside the premises at all times.

 

Campsite 

• Personal and group property is the owner’s responsibility; we are not liable for loss or damage.

• Remove all stones or items and clear the area before departure.

• Respect wildlife, nature, and the site.

• Aggressive behavior toward pets or flora will result in immediate expulsion and possible legal action.

• Do not damage or alter the historical site; violations may incur charges or legal action.

• Music is allowed at reasonable volume and must stop by 11:00 PM.

 

Fires

• Fires must never be left unattended and must be extinguished by 11:00 PM.

• Wood fires are allowed only in firepits; personal fire containers that touch the ground are prohibited.

• Camp ovens, pit fires, and other fires are permitted only in designated areas.

• Fire safety equipment must be kept nearby. Any damages from mishandling must be paid for; legal action may apply for structural damage.

• No fireworks, flares, sparklers or open flames are permitted.

 

Lights 

• All lights must be turned off by 11:00 PM.

• Spotlights must be directed toward the campsite and not disturb nearby residents.

 

Rubbish

• Dispose of trash in provided bins and leave no trace.

• Waste must be separated according to Wasteserv regulations and removed before departure. Charges may apply for non-compliance or littering.

 

Showers and Toilets

• Showers and toilets are for site guests only and must be kept clean.

• A €50 cleaning fee will apply if left dirty.

 

Kitchen

• The kitchen is fully equipped with industrial equipment and utensils, which will be registered on arrival.

• Missing items will result in the guarantee deposit being withheld until returned.

• Guests are responsible for any kitchen damages and must pay for repairs or replacements.

• A €50 cleaning fee will apply if left dirty.

 

Alcohol, Smoking & Behaviour

• Smoking is prohibited except in designated areas; cigarette butts must not be littered.

• Drunk, disorderly, or abusive behaviour is not tolerated and may involve police enforcement.

 

Scouts Members

• Children must be supervised at all times and are the responsibility of their guardians.

 

Parents’ Activities

• Parents’ activities are permitted.

• Please respect the neighborhood and observe lights-out rules.

 

CCTV cameras

• CCTV cameras operate for security and safety.

• Footage is accessible only by authorized personnel.

• Tampering with or obstructing cameras is prohibited.

• Cameras are not installed in private areas.

• All visitors must comply with surveillance policies.

 

Indoor Premises

• Indoor premises require prior booking.

• Leave all furniture and equipment in their original place; damages will be deducted from the €200 guarantee deposit.
