On the 29th of January 2012 the sound of the Scout Band was developed into the sound of a Pipe Band with the name of Xgħajra Scouts Pipes & Drums.  The pipe band performed in its hometown Xgħajra as well as in other localities in Malta and Gozo.
 

Xgħajra Scouts Pipes & Drums had the honour to play for His Excellency President George Abela for the opening of the Kitchen Garden and Pro Life Day . The band also played for Her Excellency Marie Louise Coleiro Preca at the opening of Cospicua Domus Passion Art Exhibition, Milied mill- palazz sal- Kitchen Garden and Pro Life.

The pipe band performs in Group Parades and Scout Parades.  Xgħajra Scouts Pipes & Drums also plays during various special occasions such as traditional local feast activities and local councils activities, annual concert of band clubs and weddings.

Xgħajra Scouts Pipes & Drums is a young versatile band always ready to pick up a good show, whatever the audience.
